Welcome to the rural communities best practice database
This database holds information on thousands of projects that rural communities in this country and abroad have undertaken to improve their quality of life. There is also information on publications, policy approaches and links to other organisations that promote best practice.
The Commission’s goal is to get best practice to stick by focusing on people who deliver rural services and develop rural policies. Our role will be to work in partnership with others to enhance people’s skills, competences and knowledge so that best practice is shared and taken up by others to benefit rural communities.
